Annual General Meeting- 2021

TO: All Acadia Community Garden & Art Society (ACGAS) Members 

Dear Members,

Over the past 8 years, we’ve grown considerably – and that’s not entirely a gardening joke!

As such, your Board of Directors felt it was time to update the bylaws to reflect that growth and change. These adjustments and additions, seen below, will be presented and voted on at this year’s Annual General Meeting scheduled via Zoom on Tuesday, April 20th @ 6:30 pm.

As usual, we’ll also be holding our elections and recruiting new volunteers to our active and exciting committees! Be sure to save some hours for us in your weeks ahead!

You are all welcome to attend the AGM and current members will be eligible to cast their votes. To ensure you’re on our membership list, please email Communications@growingacadia.ca to confirm and to request the Zoom link to the meeting.

So, in accordance with our existing bylaws, here are the proposed changes and additions that have been approved by ACGAS board:
