2022 Harvest and Art Fair

We are bringing back the simpler times; where the largest zucchini was celebrated, and a handmade quilt was treasured above anything store bought.

We are calling on anyone and everyone to come and take part in the day.  There are categories for people big and small, gardeners, artists and crafters!

Come with your garden triumphs and your beautiful art to share with the community, take part in old fashioned games like egg and spoon races and enjoy the simple things in life.

If you have to harvest your best work before the fair arrives, take a picture of your beautiful fruits and  veggies with a ruler in the picture to give us a size reference and you can still submit your picture as part of the online fair!  So keep a ruler in your garden kit this summer your tomato might just be the winner!

The Acadia Community Garden & Art Society is excited to host its second Garden & Art Tour.

Featuring unique gardens and art installations within the neighbourhood of Acadia, participants will take this self-guided tour and have the opportunity to interact with the garden & art hosts. Learn some gardening tricks of the trade, admire the skills of Acadia’s artists, and be inspired by the beauty!

Workshops will be happening throughout the day in the Garden and are included in the ticket price. The schedule of workshops will be available the day of the event.

Proceeds from this event will go towards operating costs for the Acadia Community Garden & Art Society.
